Welcome to the LA Beach Volleyball (LABV) Meetup! There is no charge to join and we play every Saturday (year-round). Our secret (Marina Del Rey-ish) location has free parking, many nets, good music, and nice bathrooms close by. We get approximately 30 to 80 people on any given weekend, so you can play volleyball at skill levels ranging from beginner to advanced. Unlike other groups- we absolutely do not discriminate! I decided to start this group because I noticed there are no volleyball meetups near Downtown Los Angeles. The purpose of the group is to allow people who have some volleyball experience to come and play competitive yet friendly games with one another. Anyone with a decent amount of volleyball experience (advanced beginner, intermediate, or even advanced) are encouraged to join, which will allow for competitive games.

We have a great group of people who play and train on a regular basis at Will Rogers State Beach at Tower 18 across from the Chevron Station. We are looking to find more players who are interested in fun games and who are interested in further developing their skills in order to play more competitively.

Our co-ed group has been around for years, and has always attracted fun and experienced players who have fallen in love with the welcoming and family friendly atmosphere. We normally set up 2-5 doubles nets on the grass (beach rules) and play above the intermediate level. You can show up alone or with a partner (we’re a mix of singles, couples and families); either way, you'll always be welcomed and find a competitive game.
